Please register our school as having the intention to teach Hikoi
ki te Hauora during the next 12 months.
We therefore express our interest in having access, by this registration,
to the following items:
- Free access to the electronic version of the teacher's manual and
authority to print for our use whatever copies we require.
- Free access, also on the Hikoi.com
web site, to:
- introductory and in-service training materials
- a module on community participation in implementing Hikoi
ki te Hauora
- a variety of student work sheets
- Free participation in training seminars supporting this resource
as and when they are made available. Registered schools will be advised
of these, which will depend on the availability both of the writers
of the programme and the author of Gem of the First Water.
- Free multiple copies of the Help4Youth cards listing Internet
and 0800 800 525 a 24 hour telephone service for young people
provided as part of YouthNet Aotearoa New Zealand.
- A class set of the text "Gem of the First Water" provided
at no cost to our school, as part of YouthNet Aotearoa NZ.
- A3 sized posters for classrooms.
